Ensinger, 81, of Florien, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at Gandy Baptist Church in Florien. The Revs. J. D. Brown, Jerry Ford, and Brooks Coburn officiated. Burial followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Ensinger was born in Hornbeck on April 26, 1914, to Dora Butler and Ben Burleson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan W. Ensinger Sr.; two sisters; and a brother. She died Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. Survivors include three sons, Ivan W. Ensinger Jr. (wife Aletha) of Florien, Oscar Wayne Ensinger (wife Carolyn) of Natchitoches, and Max Wendell Ensinger (wife Pam) of Fisher; three sisters, Isadora Clark of Burkeville, Texas, Willie O'Bryant, and Mellie Stewart, both of Blanchard; four grandchildren, Kevin, and Brady Ensinger of Natchitoches, and Doug, and Mari Ensinger of Fisher; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
