Laurence K. Emmons

  Laurence K. Emmons, 74, of West Monroe died in Veterans Hospital in shreveport on Jan 23
at 11:55 p.m. after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include his wife Mrs. Sea Willow Emmons of West Monroe, a daughter,
Mrs. Nell Zoeller of Fullerton, Calif., a step-daughter, Mrs. Delores Gewin of West Monroe,
four sisters; Mrs. Bertha Powell and Mrs. ? George, Sr. of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Rosie Spinks
of ?, and Mrs. Oddie Woods of Laurel, Miss., and ? grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on sunday,
Jan ?, with the Rev. J. C. Salley officiating. Burial was under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many at Wallace Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were John Thomas and Jere Emmory, Thomas, and John Emmons, and Farreld Hinkle.
