Emmons, 62, of Shreveport, died Sunday, Jan. 12, at Mansfield, after an extended illness. Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2 p.m., in the Belmont Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Interent was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Noma Skinner Emmons of Shreveport; one brother, J. H. Emmons of Pleasant Hill, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Charlie Mains, W. N. Fenston, Joe Harville, Rudolph Haley, Ronnie Freeman, Bob Anderson, Ralph Moffett, and Benton Johnson.
