Helen I. Emmons

  Mrs. Helen Imogene Emmons, 59, died Sunday night, Oct. 15, in
Schumpert Memorial Hospital in Shreveport, after a short illness.

  The funeral was at 4 p.m., Monday, in Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial was in
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include her husband, Hudson Emmons of Pleasant Hill;
one daughter, Mrs. Jane E. Wren of Keithville; one son, Gary H.
Emmons of Pleasant Hill; her mother, Mrs. Coll M. Ferguson of
Shreveport; two brothers, William H. Ferguson of Vivian, and
Richard W. Ferguson of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Anna
Belle Gibson of Longview, Texas, Mrs. Eva Lee Palms of Tacoma,
Wash., and Mrs. Alleyne Ilgenfritz of New Orleans; and two
grandchildren.
