The Rev. J. P. King, and Rev. Johnny Garrett officiated. Burial was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Emmons, a native of Belmont, died at 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Highland Hospital. She is survived by two sisters, Rena S. Booth, and Velda Skinner of Shreveport; two nephews, L. B. Skinner of Shreveport; two nephews, L. B. Skinner of Many; and Joe E. Skinner of Belmont; two nieces, Janet Munden of Many, and Loreine Jarrell of Bastrop; and two great nieces, Sherry Freeman of Lufkin, Tex., and Bea Beth Mains of Houston, Tex. Pallbearers were Charles Mains, Ronnie Freeman, Larry Skinner, Marvin Carter, Rudolph Halley, and C. G. Bullard.
