Mrs. Lucille Gregory Emmons

  Mrs. Lucille Gregory Emmons, 66, of Shreveport, died on March
23, 1987, at 12:15 a.m., at Willis-Knighton Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Mar. 24, at
Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of
Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill
Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

  Mrs. Emmons was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, and was a
housewife. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael A. Emmons.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Emmons of Shreveport;
father, J. D. Gregory Sr. of Pleasant Hill; one son, John T.
Emmons of Shreveport; two daughters, Mary Beth Lawrason of
Marshall, Tex., and Martha Kay Peters of Shreveport; three
brothers, J. D. Gregory Jr., and Jerry L. Gregory, both of
Pleasant Hill, and Thomas H. Gregory of Mansfield; and five
grandchildren.
