Mrs. Nora Jane Emmons

  Funeral services were held Nov. 5, for Mrs. Nora Jane Emmons,
who died Nov. 5, at the DeSoto Hospital in Mansfield, after an
extended illness.

  The services were held at the First Baptist Church, at 2 p.m.,
with the Rev. J. C. Salley, pastor, officiating. Drewett Funeral
Directors were in charge. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill
Cemetery.

  Mrs. Emmons was a lifelong resident of Pleasant Hill.

  Survivors include two sons, W. I. Emmons of Vidalia, and J. H.
Emmons of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Alton Royce Ross of
DeRidder; four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Hinkie, and Mrs. Milton
Bridges of Shreveport, Mrs. R. L. Moffett of Pleasant Hill, and
Mrs. S. F. Lee of Natchitoches; and two grandchildren.
