Foy of Noble died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1982, after a short illness. Mr. Foy was 61 years of age. Funeral services for Mr. Foy were held Saturday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m., at Noble United Methodist Church. Burial was at Noble Cemetery, with Rev. Marie William, Rev. Wayne Hogan, and Rev. George McVay officiating. Serving as pallbearers were James Wallace, Robert Nelson, Ben Garacci, Charles Cannon, Lontis Pumley, Walter Bertrand, Gerrett Martin, and Craig Rike. Clarence Foy was born in Zwolle. He was a member of Noble United Methodist Church, and the Noble Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Zwolle Order of Eastern Star. Serving in World War II, Mr. Foy was in the U. S. Air Force, with the 20th Air Force. Since 1958, Mr. Foy had been employed by Teledyne Movable Offshore Company of Lafayette. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Garland Julian Foy of Noble; one son, Julian Foy of Many; one sister, Mary Fenton of Chicago, Ill.; and one aunt, Mrs. W. C. Manasco of Many.
