Fife, 78, died in Natchitoches, Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 4:30 a.m., after an extended illness. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. H. O. Rogers, and Mrs. Lester V. Adams, both of Natchitoches, Mrs. C. E. Moores of Leesville, and Mrs. Audie F. Weeks of Robeline; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mr. Fife was mayor of Robeline for nine years. Services were held in the Robeline Methodist Church, Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J. C. Rousseaux, and the Rev. Jolly Harper officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Pallbearers were Elwin Holton, A. J. Smith, Dale Lambert, Sidney R. Cook, Dean Lambert, and Dr. Ira L. Campbell.
