D. H. D. Smith, Jr., and the Rev. William Trice officiated. Burial was at 2 p.m., Friday, at Pine Knot Cemetery near Many. Miss Fox died Tuesday, January 10, 1989, at Willis-Knighton Hospital. She was born in Many. Miss Fox, a school teacher at Fair Park for 31 years, was a sponsor of the National Honor Society, and set up ACT tutorial programs, and programs for athletes who needed scholastic assistance. She was a supporter of athletic programs, particularly football and track, and provided financial assistance to athletic programs, and to individual athletes that needed assistance. Miss Fox was a volunteer to the Northwest Literary Rally each year. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Fox of Many; a brother, John Fox of Bossier City; her grandmother, Lizzie Lewing of Many; one nephew, James Michael Fox; and three nieces, Kim Cross, Debbie Fox, and Susan Noel. Fair Park High School is setting up a Pat Fox Memorial Fund for scholarships.
