The Sabine Index - Dennis C. Foster

  22 May 1959 - Dennis C. Foster of Toro, father of two
Shreveporters, died Wednesday at 12:55 a.m. after an illness of
several years.

  Funeral arrangements in charge of Hixson Funeral home in
Leesville are incomplete, but will be conducted at Pisgah Baptist
church, located at Toro.

  He was the father of Mrs. Sam K. Waldrop and Leonard Foster,
both of Shreveport. Besides the two Shreveporters, Mr. Foster is
survived by his wife and four children, Mrs. John A. Gilman, Mrs.
Lynn Martin, Lealon C. Foster all of Leesville an Lawson O.
Foster of Alexandria, 14 grandchildren, two brothers and four
sisters.
