J. J. Fussell

  Services for J. J. (Jess) Fussell, 78, of Houston, Tex., former
Shreveport area resident, were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May
8, in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Marshall Street Chapel, with
the Rev. G. W. Coward, pastor of Pine Island Baptist Church, and
the Rev. E. M. Cooper officiating. Burial was in Wallace
Cemetery, near Pleasant Hill.

  A native of Many, Mr. Fussell died Wednesday, in Bayou Glen
Nursing Home in Houston, following a lengthy illness.
