The Sabine Index - Mrs. Vera Fisher

  26 Sep 1952 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Vera Fisher, 24, who
died at the City Hospital in Orange, Texas, Sept. 20, after an
extended illness, were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 22 in Central
Baptist church, Orange, Texas, with Rev. W. W. Kennedy, pastor,
of Cove Baptist church, Orange, Texas, officiating. Burial was
under the direction of Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Hugh Avery Fisher, Billy Joe Fisher, Cecil
Dillard, Bobbie Holt, Jimmy Brown, and Leon Grigsby.

  Surviving relatives include husband, J. C. Fisher, of
Orange, Texas; son, Larry Joe, of Orange, Texas; parents, Mr. and
Mrs. W. E. Taylor, of Monroe; sisters, Mrs. Velma Wedgeworth,
Mrs. Marie Shell, Mrs. Grace Taylor and Mrs. W. P. Taylor, all of
Monroe, Mrs. Lorraine Antly of Delhi, Mrs. Margaret Grigsby of
Rayville, and Mrs. W. E. Taylor of Mississippi.
