Thomas "Buddy" Wayne Fisher

  Funeral services for Thomas "Buddy" Fisher, were held at 3 p.m.,
Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Union Springs Baptist Church in
Converse. Bro. Weyland Gauntt of First Baptist Church in
Converse, officiated. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery.

  Mr. Fisher was born Oct. 31, 1949, to Mr. and Mrs. George
Fisher. He was a member of the Gold Wing Association, and a
lifelong member of Union Springs Baptist Church. He died Friday,
Feb. 21, after a lengthy battle with cancer, in Mansfield.

  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs.
George Fisher; an Aunt "Grant" Zannie Hatcher, Uncle Cliff, and
Aunt Linnie Hatcher.

  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 30
years, Pam Fisher; two sons, Josh Fisher and wife Erin; and
grandson, Tyler, and Cliff Fisher and wife Monica; and grandson,
Blake; two sisters, Myrtle Gauntt and husband Weyland, and
Barbara Gauntt and husband Doug; one brother, Jerry Fisher and
wife Tommie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers were Brian Gauntt, Tim Gauntt, Randy Gauntt, Bernard
Bossier, Buddy Love, and Donnie Barber.
