Bro. Weyland Gauntt of First Baptist Church in Converse, officiated. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery. Mr. Fisher was born Oct. 31, 1949, to Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher. He was a member of the Gold Wing Association, and a lifelong member of Union Springs Baptist Church. He died Friday, Feb. 21, after a lengthy battle with cancer, in Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. George Fisher; an Aunt "Grant" Zannie Hatcher, Uncle Cliff, and Aunt Linnie Hatcher. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 30 years, Pam Fisher; two sons, Josh Fisher and wife Erin; and grandson, Tyler, and Cliff Fisher and wife Monica; and grandson, Blake; two sisters, Myrtle Gauntt and husband Weyland, and Barbara Gauntt and husband Doug; one brother, Jerry Fisher and wife Tommie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers were Brian Gauntt, Tim Gauntt, Randy Gauntt, Bernard Bossier, Buddy Love, and Donnie Barber. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
