Luther C. Floyd

  Luther C. Floyd, 79, died in the Doctors Hospital in Shreveport,
Oct. 30, following a long illness.

  Funeral services were held at St. John's Catholic Church,
Monday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m., with Father Gustave Bergeron
officiating. Interment was held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife, Mrs. Moe M. Floyd of Many;
three sisters, Mrs. Florence Pruitt, Mrs. Lillie Duke, and Mrs.
Lonie Harris, all of Shreveport; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Serving as pallbearers were Ray Pruitt, Randy Martin, Wallace
Martin, Tommy Martin, Martin Crouth, and Jimmy Harvey. All were
Mr. Floyd's nephews.
