Officiating were the Rev. Brian Jennings, and the Rev. George Albritton. Burial was at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Robeline. Mr. Floyd died at 11:05 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 1989, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital. He was a native of Robeline, La., and the owner of the Floyd Lumber Company. He was a member of the Elks Club, and the Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline. He is survived by his wife, Fay S. Floyd of Robeline; one son, Raymond E. Floyd of Robeline; two sisters, Emma Colston of Mansfield, and Dolly Martin of Camden, Ark.; one brother, Clarence Floyd of Center, Tex.; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Floyd, Tommy Floyd, Kenneth Floyd, Jackie Billingsly, Jimmy Billingsly, and Kenneth McKelvin.
