All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Melvin Fluty Funeral services for Mrs. Melvin (Gayla) Fluty, 53, of Huntsville, Ala., were at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 17, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles. The Rev. Arlie Kyzer officiated. Burial was in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Fluty died June 13, in a Huntsville, Ala. Hospital. She was a native of Florien, and lived in Lake Charles for 25 years. She also lived in Tampa,. Fla., and most recently in Huntsville, Ala. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Melvin (Mel) Fluty of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters, Towanna Bowles of Lake Charles, Debbie Simpson of Elk City, Oklahoma, Cindy Kyzer of Webster, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Sue) Blackwell of Lake Charles; two brothers, Mr. Jerry Ray Miller of Hemphill, Tex., and Mr. Rodney Miller of Jacksonville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Ray (Buster), and Viola Tynes Miller.
