Brian Jennings, and Rev. J. D. McNeal having officiated. Burial followed in the Hickory Grove Cemetery, Robeline. Arrangements were under the direction of the Blanchard-St. Denis. Mrs. Floyd, 76, of Robeline, died Thursday, June 2, 1994, at 7:55 a.m., in the Natchitoches Parish Long Term Care Unit. Mrs. Floyd was a resident of Robeline, and a native of Belmont. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church, and a homemaker. Survivors include one son, Raymond "Frog" Floyd and his wife Barbara of Robeline; one sister, Waple Dean Barnhill of Baytown, Texas; one brother, V. W. Springer of Shreveport, La.; three grandchildren, Diana Floyd Laroux of Natchitoches, Patty Floyd Greer, and Frances Floyd Mitchell, both of Robeline; four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith Matlock, Rusty Barnhill, Jerry Floyd, Tommy Floyd, Jimmy Floyd, and Hough Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd; granddaughter, Phyllis Allbritton; grandson, Raymond Floyd Jr., and great grandson, Justin Allbritton.
