All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Raymond Eugene "Frog" Floyd, Sr. Funeral services for Raymond Eugene "Frog" Floyd Sr., 58, of Robeline, were held at 10 a.m., Feb. 14, in the Chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis in Natchitoches. Officiating were Rev. Doug Chance, and Rev. Glen Flenniken. Interment was at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Robeline, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Floyd, a native and lifelong resident of Robeline, passed away Feb. 12, 1995, in Natchitoches Parish Hospital. Mr. Floyd was a retired sawmill operator and a cattleman. Mr. Floyd was a member of the Board of Directors for the City Bank in Natchitoches; a member of the Agitators Club, and the Elks Club, both of Natchitoches. He was also a member of the Los Adeas Foundation, and the Robeline Heritage Society, and the Hickory Grove Congregational Methodist Church of Robeline. Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Eugene Floyd Jr.; daughter, Phyllis Floyd Allbriton; and a grandson, Justine Isaac Allbritton. Survivors include his widow, Barbara Ann Floyd of Robeline; three daughters, Diana Laroux of Natchitoches, Patty Floyd, and Frances Floyd, both of Robeline; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cokey Carnahan, Coley Gahagan, Henry Sklar, Joe Pierson Jr., Joe Pierson Sr., Louie Bernard, Mickey Hennigan, Jim Pierson, Ed Stewart, and Dwane Murphy. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Agitators Club of Natchitoches
