Mrs. Ernestine Flenniken

  Mrs. Ernestine Flenniken, 72, of Hombeck died Wednesday, June 2,
1999 in Hornbeck.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 4 at Oak Grove
Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck with interment following at Oak
Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck. The Rev. Edwin McCollough and the Rev.
Donald Spears officiated.

  Mrs. Flenniken was a native of Hornbeck. She lived in Winnsboro
for 32 years and moved back to Vernon Parish in 1970. She was a
homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Bible Baptist Church.

  Survivors include her husband, Homer Flenniken of Hornbeck; two
sons, Ricky Flenniken of Hornbeck and Oliver Peavy of Winnslow;
three sisters, Myrtle Ross and Lorene Manning, both of Hornbeck
and Johnnie Weldon of DeQuincy; several grandchildren; and great-
grandchildren.
