Flanagan, 65, of Many, died on Friday, Feb. 22, at 3:10 p.m., following an extended illness. Flanagan is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Flanagan of Many; four sons, the Rev. Daniel G. Flanagan of New Orleans, Lt. Nathan B. Flanagan of the U. S. Navy, the Rev. J. R. Flanagan, and the Rev. Samuel Flanagan, both of Columbia, S. C.; a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca McCormic of Many; a brother, Jim Flanagan of Poteau, Okla.; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Pendleton Assembly of God on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. The Rev. L. O. Waldron, the Rev. Bell, and the Rev. Walters officiated. Burial was in the Pendleton Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. The Rev. Flanagan's four sons served as pallbearers.
