Buford Flanagan

  Funeral services for Buford Flanagan, 74, of Many, were
conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 24, in the Shady Grove Baptist
Church at Shady Grove, La., with the Winnfield Funeral Home
officiating.

  Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery, for Buford Flanagan, who
died Thursday, Feb. 19, at his home, after a long illness.

  Survivors included his wife, Effie Flanagan; one daughter, Mrs.
Ethel Powell of Winslow, Arizona; two sons, Mr. Elmo Flanagan,
and Mr. Edward Flanagan, both of Houston, Texas; four sisters,
and four brothers; twenty-six grandchildren, and twenty-one great
grandchildren.
