Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 13, at 2 p.m., in the Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, the Rev. M. B. Adkins, the Rev. Ray Hope, and the Rev. Brent Flemming officiating. Interment was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery. Pallbearers were the grandsons. Surviving relatives include his wife, Josie Flenniken of Fort Jesup; two sons, Euland Flenniken of Shreveport, Rev. Glen Flenniken of Hornbeck; two daughters, Christene Watson of Baton Rouge, and Imogene Jordan of Alexandria; one brother, Fred Flenniken of Many, and one sister, Mrs. Wallace Branch of DeRidder; 12 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
