All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Etta Mae Flenniken Mrs. Etta Mae Flenniken, 78, of Shreveport, died in Shreveport on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 9:14 p.m., following an extended illness. Survivors include four sons, Noble Flenniken, and Wilburn Flenniken, both of Natchitoches, T. C. Flenniken of Monohan, Tex., and Byrl Flenniken of three Rivers, California; three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Calderon of Shreveport, Mrs. Reta Hendryx of Bossier City, and Mrs. Ruth Roberts of LeCompte; three brothers, Curtis Rhodes of Provencal, Archie Rhodes of DeBerry, Tex., and Marshall Rhodes of Waco, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Avery Hall of Coldwater, and Mrs. Rena Beason of DeBerry, Tex.; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the New Cedron Church on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Leach, and the Rev. Andrews officiating. Burial was in the New Cedron Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Steve Flenniken, Johnnie Calderon, Mike Schrame, Barry Flenniken, Nathan Albritton, and Elmer Reece.
