Fred Vernon Flenniken

  Funeral services for Fred Vernon Flenniken of Many, were held at
the Trinity Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Larry Laurent, church pastor, officiated. Burial was in the
Fort Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Flenniken died on Friday, Jan. 23, at 2:25 a.m., in Fraser
Hospital North. He was 80.

  Survivors include his widow, Laura Flenniken of Many; two sons,
Gerald Flenniken of Baton Rouge, and Homer Flenniken of Hornbeck;
one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Rhodes of Many; one sister, Myrtie
Branch of DeRidder; eight grandchildren, and eight great
grandchildren.
