All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Rebecca Gale Flanagan Rebecca Gale Flanagan of Many, died Tuesday, April 13, at 11:55 p.m., at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Tex., following an extended illness. She has been ill for one and one half years. Funeral services were held at Pendleton Assembly of God, Thursday, April 15, at 2 p.m., with Rev. C. E. Bell officiating. Burial was at Pendleton Assembly of God Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Daniel Flanagan, Nathan Flanagan, James Roy Flanagan, Samuel Flanagan, Paul Flanagan, and Mike Penn. She is survived by a daughter, Felisha McCormic Townsend of Many; a step daughter, Heather Nairn Penn of Many; her mother, Alice Flanagan of Many; four brothers, Daniel Flanagan of New Orleans, Nathan Flanagan of Savannah, Ga., James Roy Flanagan of Many, and Samuel Flanagan of Empire; and a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Flanagan attended Negreet High, and graduated through a correspondence course. She was employed at both Fraser Hospital, and Many Hospital, and was Head of the Medical Records Dept. at Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Tex., prior to her death. A talented lady, she was a member of the Pendleton Assembly of God Church.
