John B. Fleming Sr.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the Marshall
Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Shreveport, for John
B. Fleming Sr., 62, of Marthaville. He died Sunday, Feb. 18,
following a lengthy illness.

  Officiating at the services were Dr. Benedict Galloway, pastor
of Noel Memorial United Methodist Church, and Dr. Alber Trickett,
associate pastor. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery at
Marthaville.

  Fleming had been a Shreveport resident for the past 45 years. He
was a retired employee of Texas International State Vocational
Rehabilitation. He was a member of the Elks Club, the Kiwanis
Club, and Noel Memorial United Methodist Church.

  He is survived by one son, B. Fleming Jr. of Shreveport; three
daughters, Sondra Robb, and Louise Cass, both of Houston, Tex.,
and Beverly Fleming of Shreveport; two sisters, Juanita Copellar
of Campti, and Mrs. Billy S. Davis of Shreveport; and five
grandchildren.

  The family requests memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes
Foundation.
