Mrs. Vela Genevieve Fowler

  Mrs. Vela Genevieve Fowler, 81, died in Trinity, Texas, on
August 13, 1986, at 4 a.m.

  Funeral services were held at Prewitt Chapel, on August 14,
1986, at 4 p.m., with Rev. Billy R. Brown officiating. Burial was
in Prewitt Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  She is survived by four sons, George S. Fowler of Humble, Tex.,
Bruce B. Fowler of Sedro Wooley, Washington, Joey E. Fowler of
Trinity, Tex., and Ernie R. Fowler of Cleveland, Tex.; one
daughter, Maggie I. Anders of Trinity, Tex.; one brother, Gravel
Brown of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Pearl Snell, and Georgia
Averitt, both of Hornbeck, La.; 19 grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.
