Florentine, 64, of Pleasant Hill, were held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 17, at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Officiating was Father Kenneth Williams. Burial took place in Zion Rest Cemetery. Mr. Florentine passed away Saturday, December 15, at his residence, following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Heilwood, Pa., and a resident of Pleasant Hill since 1957. He served our country during World War II, in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Florentine. Survivors include his beloved wife, Joyce Florentine; his mother, Grace Florentine; four loving daughters and their husbands, Barbara and M. J. Manshack, Frances and Jack Graves, Joan and Mike Leckletts, Paula and Junior Barnard; one sister, Mary Bassaro; one brother, Father Thomas A. Florentine; eleven grandchildren, Darin Manshack, Bennie Manshack, Robert Manshack, Steven Manshack, James Manshack, Angela Thomas, Jolene Graves, Dennis Graves, Christian Barnard, Jessica Barnard, and Lauren Moss; one great grandchild, Matthew Thomas; and numerous other relatives. Pallbearers will be Junior Barnard, Darin Manshack, Robert Manshack, Steven Manshack, James Manshack, Arris Housley. Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Barnard, and Matthew Thomas. He will be greatly missed by all his loved ones, but will always remain in our hearts, and be remembered in our prayers.
