All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Joyce Haire Florentine Funeral services for Joyce Haire Florentine, 66, of Natchitoches, were held Tuesday, May 21, 1996, at 3 p.m., at the Zion's Rest Cemetery in Wallace, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis, with the Rev. George Bannister officiating. Mrs. Florentine died at her residence Sunday, May 19, 1996. She was a native of Ajax, a resident of Natchitoches, and a merchant in Pleasant Hill. She was the owner of the J & J Grocery, and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Joseph B. Florentine; and two brothers, Raymond, and Jesse Haire. Survivors include four daughters, Barbara F. Manshack and husband J. J. of Memphis, Tenn., Frances F. Graves and husband Jackie of Converse, Joan F. Dew and husband Forrest of Natchitoches, and Paula F. Hall and husband Melvin of Natchitoches; six sisters, Agnes Lasky of Florida, Dahlia Graves of Converse, Alice Laiti of Shreveport, Gracie Wyatt of Shreveport, Tressie Ryals of Converse, Betty Emerson of Coushatta; one brother, Larry Haire of Converse; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Darin Manshack, Robert Manshack, Steven Manshack, James Manshack, Chris Barnard, Byron Rogers, and M. J. Manshack. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Graves, Forest Dew, and Melvin Hall.
