Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8 in the chapel of Osborn Funeral Home with Dr. N. O. Pugh, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment followed at Forest Park Cemetery. Mrs. Fenston was a native of Sabine Parish and a resident of Shreveport since 1923. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shreveport and retired after 40 years of service from National Life and Accident Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Fenston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. William F. Skinner; sisters, Miss Josie Skinner and Mrs. Roma Carmical, brothers, Larry Skinner and Harvey Skinner; and nephews, Rev. William Ronald Skinner and C. L. Carmical Jr. Mrs. Fenston is survived by her niece, Mrs. Mary Rabe Russell and husband, Thurmond; nephews, William F. Carmical and wife Doris, Joe P. Carmical, Charlie Wayne Carmical and wife Ophelia, James Larry Skinner and wife Carolyn and Asa A. Skinner and wife Karen; and several great nieces and a great nephew. The family suggests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Shreveport.
