  Armina J. Fontenot - January 21, 1988

  Services for Mrs. Armina J. Fontenot were held at 1 p.m. Wed.,
Jan. 6 in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev.
Guy Allen officiating. Burial was in National Cemetery,
Pineville.

  Mrs. Fontenot, 87, of Hessmer died at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4 in
Savoy Medical Center, Mambu.

  She was a native of Ville Platte and a member of Northside
Baptist Church, Pineville.

  Survivors include four sons, Jules S. Fontenot, Jr. of Ville
Platte, Orise S. Fontenot of Pollock, Thomas S. Fontenot of
Zwolle and Currie S. Fontenot of Tioga; two daughters, Alma Arno
of Hessmer and Earline Thompson of Pineville; 22 grandchildren
and 29 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Don Fontenot, Kevin Fontenot, George Fisher,
Ira Fontenot, Jimmy Thompson and Randy Soileau.
