L. H. Funderburk

  Luther H. Funderburk, 59, of Florien, died Saturday morning in Florien,
following a long illness.

  Survivors include his widow; eight sons, Freddie, Donald, and Kenneth
Funderburk of Florien, Ray Funderburk of Lufkin, Ralph Funderburk of
Mansfield, Willis and Robert Funderburk, both of Buna, Tex., and Benny
Funderburk of Many; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Leach, Mrs. Nancy Miller,
and Mrs. Carolyn Walker, all of Florien, and Mrs. Helen Tippey of Calion,
Ark.; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Funderburk of Florien; three brothers, the
Rev. Arthur Funderburk of Douglasville, Tex., the Rev. J. I. Funderburk
of Logansport, and Harold Funderburk of Florien; three sisters, Mrs.
Naomi Cragor of Shreveport, Mrs. Velma Miller of Florien, Mrs. Rena Small
of Lufkin, Tex.; and 20 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, in the Antioch Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Harold Dunn officiating, assisted by the Rev. V. L.
Prewitt.
