Rev. Jefferson Funderburk

  Services for the Rev. Jefferson I. Funderburk, 67, of Bunkie,
were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, in the First Baptist
Church of Bunkie. The Rev. Charles Funderburk, Dr. Roy Stebbin,
and Don Maybry officiated. Graveside services were at 3 p.m.,
Saturday, in Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Florien, under the
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Bunkie.

  Rev. Funderburk died Oct. 9, 1986, in St. Landry. He was a
retired Baptist minister, and a former pastor of Logansport First
Baptist Church. He was a director of missions for the Louisiana
Baptist Convention.

  Survivors include his wife, Maybel Funderburk of Bunkie; one
son, Charles Jefferson Funderburk of Monroe; two daughters,
Barbara McDuffie of Gretna, and Sandra Clinkscales of Bunkie; two
sisters; and five grandchildren.
