Truley E. Free

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in
Jennings Methodist Church near Marthaville, for Truly Edward
Free, 61, of Shreveport, who died here Monday.

  Rev. Sammie Mitchell, and Rev. I. D. Noble were to officiate.
Burial was to be in Bethany Cemetery, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  A native of Marthaville, Mr. Free had lived here for about 16
years. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Virgie
Lee of Frierson, Mrs. Reata Utz of Frierson, Mrs. Claudie Bacque
of Keithville, and Mrs. Hazel Franklin of Shreveport; three sons,
Thomas J. Free of Shreveport, Edward Lee Free, also of
Shreveport, and Michael R. Free of Keithville; three brothers,
Rev. Marvin Free of Singer, Leo Free of Marthaville, and Normous
Free of Van Alstyne, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Inman of
Kiethville, and Frankie Free of Marthaville; and 11
grandchildren.
