The Rev. Wane Dubose, pastor of Summer Grove Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Southside Chapel. He died Thursday, April 23, during the evening hours, at Schumpert Medical Center Emergency Room, following an automobile accident. Christopher was a lifetime resident of Shreveport, a 1977 graduate of Southwood High School, and attended Northeast Louisiana University. He was an Employee Benefits Representative of Brown and Root Construction Co., and a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother and father, Douglas and Rachel Free of Shreveport. Christopher was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Free of Pleasant Hill, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben C. Isgitt of Zwolle. He is also survived by one brother, Brian Stephen Free of Shreveport. Pallbearers: Willie Gites, Roland Lie, Don Parker, Jobe Richardson, James Smith, Jimmy L. Barnett.
