Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at Mt. Freedom Cemetery. The Rev. Benny Crittenden officiated. Survivors include one daughter, Pauline Coffey of Many; one sister, Ruth Tibbits of Shreveport; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Johnnie Furr of Anacoco; four granddaughters, Belinda Beck and husband Jeff of Baltimore, Md., Diane Solomon and husband David of Loveland, Colo., Carol Ann Culbertson of Baytown, Texas, and Kim Cannon of Many; two grandsons, Chris Coffey of Many, and Rickie Furr of Rotan, Texas; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her husband; and two sons, Bobby R. Furr, and Hugh E. Furr. Pallbearers were R. L. Bamburg, Joseph Veuleman, W. F. Peters, Harold Veuleman, Jerry Veuleman, and Lee Palmer. Honorary pallbearers were Jonathan Coffey, and Keith Coffey. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
