All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Frank Free Frank Free, 84 year old retired minister and farmer of Pleasant Hill, died Friday, March 17, at the Allen Sanitarium in Converse, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 18, at the Progress Presbyterian Church near Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Mrs. Ada Bonds, the Rev. Peyton Hall of Mansfield, and the Rev. B. D. Powell of Sulphur officiating. Interment was in the Progress Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors include his widow; five sons, Alton Free, and Melton Free of Pleasant Hill, Arlton "Tim" Free of Orange, Tex., Franklin Free of Sulphur, and James Free of Goldonna; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Gates of Converse; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Rains, Mrs. Minnie Bozeman, and Mrs. Irene Sistrunk, all of Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Dewey Free of Pleasant Hill, and Clifton Free of Converse; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
