He was an oilfield contractor. Mr. Fair lived in Many, about two and one-half years ago for awhile. While here, he belonged to the Many First Baptist Church, and was a deacon. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in Lewis Funeral Home in Magnolia, with the Rev. D. L. Honeycutt, the Rev. James Lindsey, and the Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Memorial Park. Survivors are his widow; one son, Glen Fair Jr. of Bossier City, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Dale Gunntll of California; three sisters, Mrs. Roy Oldfield, and Mrs. Ed Kinard of Conway, and Mrs. J. E. Reiner of Jonesville; four brothers, E. H. Fair of Pocahontas, Donald Fair, Amelia, Ohio, L. A. Fair of Kentucky, and Capt. Gene Fair of Fremont, Calif.; and three grandchildren. In addition to Dr. Fitzgerald, others from Many attending the last rites were Sheriff and Mrs. T. M. Phillips, and Mrs. W. G. McDonald.
