The Sabine Index - H. P. Fripps

  4 Oct 1940 - Funeral rites for H. P. Fripp, age 73 years, were held
last Saturday at the Florien Baptist church at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. H.
Stockman officiating.  Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery near
Hornbeck, with the Masons having charge of the rites at the grave.

  Mr. Fripp was struck near Hornbeck by a truck Sunday, September 22,
and died at the Fraser sanitarium last Wednesday night.

  Mr. Fripp was agent for the K.C.S. railway at Hornbeck for eight
years and at Florien the past 16 years.

  Surviving are the widow and four daughters, Mrs. C. W. Wise and Mrs.
Nelson of Denver, Colo., Elizabeth Fripp of Alaska; and Vivian Fripp
of Florien.
