James Forbis

  James Forbis, 83, of Florien, died on Sunday, July 29, at 6:30
a.m., in Natchitoches, following a short illness.

  Services were held on Monday, July 30, at 6 p.m., in the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with the Bishop Glen Hardy,
and Mack Kays Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Warren
Memorial.

  Pallbearers were Jackie Cox, Dolphy Ebarb, Bernice Hardy, A. J.
Hardy, Wayne Golf, Randy Hardy, Kenneth Rains, and Jimmy Jessup.

  Survivors include his widow, Evia Forbis of Florien; one son,
James Stanley Forbis of Bossier City; three daughters, Mrs.
Audrey Jackson of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Miriam Mitchell of
Florien, and Mrs. Patricia Foshee, also of Florien; 12
grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
