B. Cleveland, were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the First Baptist church, Rev. C. W. Williams, pastor, officiating. Interment in the Many cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home in charge. Surviving are one son, H. Q. Cleveland, one step-daughter Mrs. J. H. DeBose age 80 years, were held at Old Pisgah, Wednesday evening at 3 o'clock, Rev. J. D. Scott officiating. Dennis-Green funeral home directing. Surviving are four children, three sons, Grover of Many, James Everett of Many and Louis McGough DeBose of Coushatta, one daughter, Mrs. Alice Byles; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Uncle Sim, as Mr. DeBose was known to everyone, was one of Sabine parish's oldest citizens. He served the people of Many and vicinity for many years at his blacksmith shop. He laves a wife and eight children; five girls, Mrs. Anna Oymert of Cornersville, Ark., Mrs. Ella Hosmer of Montgomery, Miss Jessie McNeely of Montgomery, Mrs. Tommie Garrett of Colfax, Mrs. Ola Wilson of Urania, three sons, Robert McNeely of Jena, Morrison and Jones McNeely both of Colfax, 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, Mrs. Sam Pruitt of Florien being his oldest niece. The funeral service were conducted by Bro. Adams and Bro. Hammons. Pallbearers were T. E. Garrett, Frank Wilson, Rufus Garret, Newton Horner, W. J. McNeely and J. C. Williams. He was buried in Colfax cemetery by the Hixson funeral home. Uncle Willie was a Christian many of the Pentecost faith. Interment Fisher cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home directing. Surviving, one son, Charles, bookkeeper for the Louisiana Long Leaf Lumber company at Fisher. Mr. Stevenson was accidently killed by a K.C.S. railway train about 2:30 Monday. It is though that he stopped to rest on the tracks and dozed off to sleep and failed to awaken.
