Brown, 65, of Leesville, died at the Baptist hospital in Alexandria Friday following a 30 day illness. Mr. Brown was a member of the Grand Lodge of Masons, serving as grand lecturer. He was a member of the Blue Lodge, Royal Arch, The Council and Knights Templar, all of Leesville and a member of the El Karubah Shrine Temple of Shreveport. Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the first Methodist church in Leesville; Rev. A. A. Knight, former pastor, and Rev. Haug, present pastor, assisted by several other ministers officiated. Graveside services were held by the Leesville Masons. Burial was in Leesville cemetery under the direction of Hixon funeral home. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Sallie Brown of Leesville; four sons, Jean Brown of the United States army occupation forces in Germany; Raymond and Oscar Brown, both of Port Arthur, Texas and John Brown of Freeport, Texas; one daughter, Fern Galloway of Port Arthur, Texas. Pallbearers were G. C. Wood, C. B. Owens, Rose Fertita, Senator R. L. Langton, age 65, died at his home after a long illness. Last rites were conducted from Little Flock Baptist church 2 p.m. Feb. 18 by Rev. C. M. Miers. Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Mr. Langton is survived by his wife, Mrs. A. R.
