Anderson, age 77, of Noble, who passed away Thursday, Feb. 17 at Allen Sanitarium, were conducted at Noble Pentecostal Church, Friday, Feb. 18 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. H. S. Laidlow, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Frank Collins of Zwolle, pastor Noble Methodist church; Rev. N. A. Adams of Montgomery and Rev. Lonnie Johnson, pastor of Many Pentecostal Church. Interment was in Noble cemetery under the direction of Drewitt Funeral Home, Mansfield. Survivors are sons: H. D., J. H., and K. O. Anderson of Noble, and J. W. Sirmon, 66, of Summer Grove, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 22, at 10:30 at Oak Grove. Mr. Sirmon, a retired teacher, taught in Sabine parish for many years, being a former principal at Mt. Carmel, Converse and Oak Grove. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. D. R. Sirmon of Summer Grove; three daughters, Mrs. J. W. Givens of Shreveport, Mrs. William Dean Sistrunk of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. Elsie Hood of Goffs Town, N. H.; two sons, Stanley Sirmon and Winston Sirmon of Shreveport. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Summer Grove Methodist Church.
