Interment was in Florien cemetery under the direction of the Warren funeral home. Survivors are son, A. V. McLanahan, daughter, Mrs. E. L. Crews 17 Feb 1956 - Funeral services for L. O. Crews, 82, who passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8 was conducted at the chapel at Hixon Funeral home, Alexandria at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10 with Rev. M. D. Moses of Church Point, officiating. Interment was in St. John's Catholic cemetery in Alexandria under the direction of Hixon Funeral home of Alexandria. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. L. O. Crews of Alexandria, sons, Albert, Otis, Appell Crews, all of Alexandria, daughters, Mrs. J. M. Abington, Mrs. D. C. Abington, all of Many; Mrs. James Sasser, Mrs. Iona Borland and Miss Vera Crews all of Alexandria; sisters, Mrs. W. M. Phillips and Mrs. O. E. Williams, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
