The Rev. Guy Allen officiated. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Hall Summitt, La. Mrs. Gay died Thursday, August 30, 1984, at Bossier Health Care Center, after a lengthy illness. She is survived by two sons, Burnis L. Gay of Coushatta, and John R. Gay of Haughton, La.; one daughter, Sylvia C. Winderweedle of Omaha, Nebraska; six sisters, Ideva Gay of Hall Summit, Eula Robinson of Coushatta, Eltis Allen of Many, La., Loriene Woods, and Marreie Hamm of Castor, La., Camille Mosley of Coushatta; three brothers, Alton Kolb of Ringgold, La., Tilman Kolb of Nederland, Texas, and W. B. Kolb of Bossier City; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
