Gay - May 12, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Ideva K. Gay, 80, of Hall Summit, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, at 2 p.m. at the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta. The Rev. C. O. Cannon officiated with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Coushatta. Mrs. Gay died Wednesday, May 4 at Springville Nursing Home in Coushatta. She was a housewife and was affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church. She is survived by her husband Ronnie Gay of Hall Summit, two sons, R. L. Gay of Bossier city, and Richard Gay of Greenwood; three daughters, Joyce Speights of Longstreet, Barbara Richey of Coushatta, and Nina Chandler of Great Bend, Kansas; three brothers, Alton Kolb of Ringgold, Willie Kolb of Bossier City, and Tilman Kolb of Midland, Tex.; five sisters Eltis Allen of Many, Eula Robinson of Hall Summit, Lorene Woods of Castor, Camille Mosely of Coushatta and Morelle Hamm of Castor; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and nephews. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Michael Richey, Bill Speights and Gary Speights; grandsons-in-law, Dr. Lee Humble and Bill Henderson, and her nephew, Frank Mosley.
