Don D. Gibbs

  Funeral services were held for Don D. Gibbs, 71, of Houston
Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m., at the Warren Meadows Funeral
Chapel. Interment was in the Fenders Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Gibbs died Monday, Dec. 4, at Houston, after an extended
illness.

  Survivors were his wife, Mrs. Mary Gibbs of Houston, four
sons; James, Charles, and Leonard Gibbs, all of Houston, and
Billy Gibbs of New Orleans, three daughters; Mrs. A. E.
Wagner, Mrs. Walter Stewart, Mrs. Charles Berryman, all of
Houston, two brothers; Morris Gibbs of Newton, and L. W.
Gibbs of Hornbeck, two sisters; Mrs. Ola Powell of Florien,
and Mrs. Beatrice Alford of Many; 29 grandchildren, and five
great-grandchildren.
