The Sabine Index - Robert Lee Gibbs 
  
  16 Oct 1959 - Funeral services for Robert Lee Gibbs, age 86, who 
died Oct. 10 at home near Hornbeck were conducted at Pleasant 
View Baptist church at 2 p.m. Oct. 11 with rev. Bobby McCuller, 
Rev. Jerry Schumaker and Rev. Jason Kay officiating. Interment 
was in Jerusalem cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral 
Home. 
  
  Pallbearers were Bobby, L. B., Jim Bob and Charles Ray Gibbs, 
Dale Powell and Walter Earl Fleming. 
  
  Survivors are sons, D. D. of Houston, Texas, M. G. of Newton, 
Texas, L. W. of Hornbeck; daughter, Mrs. J. M. Rembert of 
Pineville, Mrs. L. T. Alford of Many, Mrs. D. F. Powell of 
Hornbeck; sister, Mrs. Haller Smith of Cleveland, Texas; 26 
grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
