Mary Gertrude Gibbs

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Gertrude Gibbs, 88, were held at
2 p.m., Thursday, March 21, in Warren Meadows Chapel. Rev. Joe
Ratcliff officiated. Interment followed in Fenders Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Gibbs died Monday, March 18, at Memorial Northwest Hospital
in Houston, Tex.

  She is survived by four sons, James Gibbs of Rayne, Charles
Gibbs of Houston, Tex., Billy Gibbs of Charlotte, N. C., and
Leonard Gibbs of Houston, Tex.; two daughters, Martha Steward of
Conroe, Tex., and Mary Lynn Berryman of Houston, Tex.; two
sisters, Oleave Knippers of Sulphur, and Naomi Cullumber of Lake
Charles; twenty five grandchildren; twenty four great
grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband Don; and her daughter, Gloria
Wagner.
